Thomson’s off night allowed the team a breather before it closes out the regular season against the Jefferson County Warriors.
Thomson has a 9-0 record and is ranked No. 1 in Class AAA. The Bulldogs can clinch the Region 3-AAA with a win against the visiting Warriors who have a 4-5 record that includes a 2-1 region mark. The Warriors defeated Swainsboro 27-14 on Nov. 2. Thomson whipped Swainsboro 57-20 on Oct. 12.
The Dogs set a series of goals before the season began, said head coach Milan Turner.
