Police arrest one, seek another for bank fraud
By Linda Green

The Thomson Police Department, working with security specialists at a local bank, nabbed one man and is seeking to identify and arrest another for deposit account fraud.
Police Investigator Jamie Bridges said the Jackson Street Branch of SunTrust Bank contacted the Police Department on Oct. 25 about a possible scheme to defraud the bank of more than $5,000.
Bridges said that after obtaining photos of the possible suspects from ATM surveillance and copies of the transactions, he began investigating.
