Lynn Flake
Lynn Flake, 56, of Thomson and Ellabell, Ga., passed away on Thurs., Oct. 25, 2012.
A visitation will be held on Sat., Nov. 10, at 1 p.m. with a memorial service following at 2 p.m. at Green's Cut United Methodist Church in Waynesboro, Ga.

William E. Hogan
William Estes "Billy" Hogan, 64, of Lincolnton, Ga., husband of Joyce W. Hogan, entered into rest on Sun., Nov. 4, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Thurs., Nov. 8, at Lincolnton Baptist Church. Interment will be in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 7, at Beggs Funeral Home in Lincolnton.

James G. McNair
James Gilbert McNair, 83, of Wrens, Ga., husband of Catherine McDonald McNair, entered into rest on Tues., Nov. 6, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thurs., Nov. 8, at Ways Baptist Church & Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 7, at James Funeral Home in Wrens.

Donald E. Neal
Graveside services for Donald Edward Neal, 44, of Thomson, Ga., will be held on Fri., Nov. 9, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Westview Cemetery in Thomson. The funeral processional will leave residence at 12:30 p.m.
Thomson Funeral System is handling the arrangements.

Annie P. Rickerson
Funeral services for Annie Paschal Rickerson, 79, of Appling, Ga., will be held on Thurs., Nov. 8, 2012, at 1 p.m. at First Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Appling. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Thomson Funeral System is handling the arrangements.

Phyllis Carroll Shoemaker
Phyllis Carroll Shoemaker, 54, of Boneville Circle in Dearing, Ga., entered into rest on Nov. 7, 2012 at Doctors Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sat., Nov. 10, at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Shoemaker was a native of LaGrange, Ga. and was the daughter of the late James Richard Burnett and late Peggy June Burnett. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, and loving mother. Mrs. Shoemaker was a member of Second Baptist Church of Thomson.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Shoemaker; son, Brian Shoemaker; daughter, Crystal Shoemaker; brothers, Jamie Burnett, Timothy Shane Burnett; sisters, Teresa Hamilton and Dana Lawler.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Fri., Nov. 9, at the funeral home.
Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, is in charge of arrangements.

Elizabeth Gibson Weaver
Elizabeth Gibson Weaver, 81, of Augusta, Ga., entered into rest on Nov. 5, 2012 at Trinity Hospital. She was the wife of the late Eugene Weaver.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Fri., Nov. 9, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Weaver was born in Great Falls, S.C. and was a resident of St. Johns Tower for many years. She was the daughter of the late Alvin B. Gibson and the late Sallie Melton Gibson. Mrs. Weaver was a retired Resident Manager and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Rev. Darrell Weaver and wife Wanda of Midville, Ga., James Michael Weaver and wife Sharon of Burke, Va.; daughter, Sarah Lynn Weaver of Virginia Beach, Va.; brother, James Grady Gibson and wife Evelyn of Gastonia, N.C.; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by her son, Marshall Weaver; brothers, Marion Eugene Gibson and Robert Jackson Gibson.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Thurs., Nov. 8, at the funeral home. Friends may call at the home of Stephen and Ruth Weaver, 620 Hillcrest St., Harlem, Ga.
