• McTeachers raise funds

Recently, teachers from Thomson Elementary School took on new roles as they made burgers, cooked fries, and took orders from customers.
Tuesday, Oct. 16, was McTeacher’s Night at McDonald’s in Thomson. The event served as a fundraiser for TES.
Principal Anita Cummings said the school’s longterm goal is to raise funds for a marquis sign to be placed in front of the school. She said the elementary school is the only school in the county without such a sign.
