• Church invites all to give thanks at Eucharist service
By Wayne Parham

Macedonia United Methodist Church will open it’s door early this Sunday as it welcomes the community to attend a Eucharist service at 8:30 a.m.
David Sisler, pastor of the church, said the Eucharist service will be a time of thanksgiving.
“It’s going to be a service of thanksgiving, because that’s what the word Eucharist means. It’s a Greek word that means giving thanks. It’s actually used 30 some times in the new testament,” Sisler said.
This service is open to the church’s congregation, but also for anyone in the community. Sisler said this is a good service for someone in the community who may not attend church anymore.
