Jarmiah Embry was full of smiles and excitement when she entered the Haunted House on Saturday night. When she exited about 10 minutes later, she was in tears.
It scared me, she said before she was further frightened by a masked man with a chain saw in the parking lot.
Embry along with family and friends entered the haunted asylum and sanatorium Saturday night to be taunted by the members of the Art Club at Thomson High School, the Family Y and Y130.
By day, the asylum is the basement of the Thomson-McDuffie Chamber of Commerce.
