The Thomson Bulldogs scored a lackluster 21-14 homecoming win against the Dodge County Indians Friday night at The Brickyard.
The win kept the Dogs (8-0) perfect and set up a critical region game against Washington County (8-0) at The House of Pain Friday night.
“We weren’t good anywhere, tonight,” said Milan Turner, THS head coach. “We’ve got to learn that no matter who we play, we have to prepare and come with our A game.”
Dodge County scored on the first series of the game, driving from the Indian 32 with Marcus Brown scoring on a 21-yard run.
The Bulldogs’ score came as the first quarter ended. The Bulldogs, facing a fourth-and-12 at the Dodge Co. 32 managed a first down on a 23-yard pass from Chris Tutt to Felton Hatcher.
