• Men arrested for Thomson home burglary

Two Augusta area men have been charged with burglary and theft after taking more than $3500 worth of items from a Thomson residence.
According to McDuffie County Sheriff’s Office Major Ronnie Williamson, Jason J. Sherman, 26 and David Jaszewski, 45, allegedly kicked in the front door of 668 Plyant Crossing on Saturday with the intent of removing items from the home.
