Three people from the Augusta area were arrested by a McDuffie County deputy on Wednesday and charged with methamphetamine trafficking.
Deputy Jared Land was patrolling the area of Highway 43 and Fish Dam Road when he noticed a Chevrolet Trailblazer with defective equipment. After performing a tag check, he learned that the tag belonged to a vehicle that had been reported stolen in Richmond County.
