The Briarwood Academy Buccaneers seemed to score every time they touched the ball Friday night as they amassed 41 points in the first half as they defeated Central Fellowship 61-25.
The win gets the Bucs off to a solid start in the region, 1-0. The game was played against Central Fellowship, but on Windsor Academy’s field in Macon.
“I feel like we had been off for a long time, and sometimes when you have an off week, it takes time for your offense and defense to get the feel for it again. But Friday we were clicking,” said Buccaneer Head Coach John Osborne.
“The offensive line was blocking well, the backs were hitting the holes right, the guards were pulling and the backs were following them, and the fakes were good with the new quarterback,” he added.
