• Augusta man dead after Sunday night shooting on Dell Drive

Local and state law enforcement agencies are continuing their investigation into a Sunday night fatal shooting in Thomson that authorities say claimed the life of an Augusta man.
In a Monday afternoon press release, John Seay, interim office administrator of the Thomson Police Department, said that at approximately 10:10 p.m., the McDuffie Co. 911 Center was contacted by concerned citizens in the area of Dell Drive reporting that an individual had been shot at 523 Dell Drive in Thomson
Thomson Police, along with McDuffie County Sheriff’s deputies and Georgia State Patrol troopers responded to the scene.
