Hattie Dent, of Appling, Ga., passed away on Oct. 2, 2012.
Graveside services were conducted on Sat., Oct. 6, at Rehoboth Baptist Church in Appling.
Peoples Funeral Home of Augusta, Ga. handled the arrangements.
Wanda J. Dunaway
Wanda Jean Dunaway, 60, of Lincolnton, Ga., wife of Donald Eugene Dunaway & mother of April Crook & Amanda Wolfe, entered into rest on Thurs., Oct. 4, 2012.
Memorial services were held on Sat., Oct. 6, at Hephzibah Baptist Church. Visitation was held prior to the service.
Rees Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
Artie M. Gross
Artie Mae Gross, 99, of Augusta, Ga., mother of Barbara Mosley & Edie Gross, entered into rest on Tues., Oct. 2, 2012.
Funeral services were held on Sat., Oct. 6, at Stone Springfield AME Church & Cemetery in Stapleton, Ga.
Burnett Funeral Home, of Wrens, Ga., handled the arrangements.
Stacey Maurice Sharp, Sr.
Consolidated Mailing Services
Stacey Maurice Sharp, Sr., 60, of Howard Rd. in Thomson, Ga., entered into rest on Oct. 6, 2012.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. on Mon., Oct. 8, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Morris officiating.
Mr. Sharp was a native of McDuffie County and was the son of the late Louis Sharp and the late Frances English. He had worked as an Electronics Engineer with Musicast and was currently employed as a Computer Technician for Consolidated Mailing Services. Mr. Sharp was very active with Agape Outreach Fellowship Church and Agape Outreach Ministries in Thomson.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Margaret Gunn Sharp; daughters, Tonya S. Morris and husband Jerry, Amanda S. Carter and husband Jason; sons, Stacey M. Sharp, Jr. and wife Mandy, Jonathan Sharp; and 12 grandchildren. Mr. Sharp was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Sharp.
