The Thomson Lady Bulldogs lost two games of a double-header Wednesday night against the Swainsboro Lady Tigers.
The team came back to split a seeding best-of-three series against Washington County, Saturday. A third game was scheduled for Tuesday afternoon if weather permitted.
On Saturday, the Lady Dogs won the first game 10-2.
We lost the second game 15-16 in the 12th inning after playing five innings of international tie breaker, said Daniel Farrell, Thomson head coach. It was a back and forth game, and we had a costly error with two outs that caused a huge momentum shift after we had a six-run lead.
