• Traffic stop nets sizable seizure of marijuana

A traffic stop near the Columbia County line early Friday morning resulted in the seizure of a sizable quantity of marijuana.
McDuffie County Sheriff’s Deputy Jared Land made the traffic stop around 4 a.m. in the eastbound side of Interstate 20.
