• Two injured in Friday night crash

Two people were flown to Georgia Health Science University Hospital (MCG) Friday night after a two-car crash on the Thomson By-Pass.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, a 1993 Jeep Cherokee being driven by Willie L. Haynes, 35, of Thomson, traveled through a stop sign at Dallas Drive and struck a 1991 Chevrolet C1500 being driven by Johnnie Lee Jones, 72, of Waynesboro.
