A Thomson bank was damaged Wednesday when a large truck struck part of the drive thru roof.
According to the Thomson Police Department, a panel truck attempting to park in the back parking lot of the First Bank branch on East Hill Street clipped the corner of the drive thru roof. The contact pulled the drive thru roof partially away from the main roof of the bank and knocked down several support columns.
