Funeral services for Louise Ramsey Bivines, 81, of Harlem, Ga., will be held on Sat., Sept. 22, 2012, at 1 p.m. at New Holt Baptist Church in Harlem. Interment will be in Second Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery.
Thomson Funeral System is handling the arrangements.

James J. Clubb
James J. "Jim" Clubb, 56, of Washington, Ga., son of Hal Clubb & the late Rose Clubb, entered into rest on Sat., Sept. 22, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tues., Sept. 25, at First U.M.C. of Washington. Interment will be in Pine Grove Church Cemetery in Lincoln Co.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Mon., Sept. 24, at Rees Funeral Home in Lincolnton.

Carrie M. Davis
Carrie Mae Davis, 74, of Dearing, Ga., wife of Wallace Davis, died on Thurs., Sept. 20, 2012.
Funeral services were held on Sun., Sept. 23, at Dearing United Methodist Church. Burial was in Dearing Memorial Cemetery.
Curtis Funeral Home of Thomson handled the arrangements.

Florence K. Downs
Florence K. Downs, 101, of Mitchell, Ga., wife of the late Horace Downs, died on Sat., Sept. 22, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tues., Sept. 25, at Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church & Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Mon., Sept. 24, at Sheppard Funeral Home in Gibson.

Evelyn June Ellis
Evelyn June Ellis, 55, of Thomson, Ga., entered into rest on Sept. 24, 2012.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Fri., Sept. 28, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry Whitfield officiating.
Mrs. Ellis was born in Indiana and lived in Thomson, Ga. for the past 25 years. She was faithful and devoted to doing volunteer work.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Ellis; son, Audie Ray Perkins, Jr.; daughters, Laura Pickering and Tina Perkins; sisters, Belinda McMullen and Rita Waters; grandchildren, Ronald Burch, Jr., Courtney Pickering, Michael Stroup, Dylan Pickering, Allyssa McTier, Natalie Perkins and Nathan Perkins.
The family will receive friends prior to the memorial service at the funeral home.
Beggs Funeral Home, Thomson, Ga., is in charge of arrangements.

William E. Jackson
William "Eddie" Jackson, 50, of Dearing, Ga., died on Thurs., Sept. 20, 2012, at his residence.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Sun., Sept. 23, at Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Reese officiating.
Curtis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Jerry D. Lowe
Funeral services for Jerry Dean Lowe, 59, of Warrenton, Ga., will be held on Tues., Sept. 25, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Trinity A.M.E. Church in Warrenton. Interment will be in Laboring Homes Society Cemetery.

Stanley May
Stanley May, 57, of Macon, Ga., died on Wed., Sept. 19, 2012.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sat., Sept. 22, at Gibson City Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 10 a.m. on Saturday at Sheppard Funeral Home in Gibson, Ga.

Richard D. Moore
Richard Dean "Rick" Moore, 42, of Lincolnton, Ga., husband of Roxanne Martin Moore, died on Sat., Sept. 22, 2012.
Visitation will be held on Thurs., Sept. 27, from 5-7 p.m. at Greenwood Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m.
Beggs Funeral Home of Lincolnton is handling the arrangements.

Blaine Smith
Tony Blaine Smith, 35, of Jackson St. in Thomson, Ga., entered into rest on Sept. 21, 2012.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. on Mon., Sept. 24, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Prater and Rev. David Honeycutt officiating. Interment followed in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were: Tony Holloway, Lee Blackburn, Jack Garrison, Patrick Smith, Eric Smith and Charlie Smith.
Mr. Smith was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County, Ga. and was a 1995 graduate of Thomson High School.
Survivors include his mother, Shelia Lancaster Smith of Thomson and fiancÚ Gary Beard of Millport, Miss.; brother, Nick Smith and wife Laura of Evans; nephew, Michael Smith; paternal grandmother, Thelma Brassell of Boneville; and maternal grandmother, Jimmie Nell Lancaster of Thomson. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his father, Tony W. Smith.
Memorials may be made to Special Olympics of Georgia, 4000 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Building 400, Suite 400, Atlanta, Ga. 30340.
Friends may call the residence of Shelia Smith, 620 Jackson St., Thomson, Ga. The family received friends from 2 until 4 p.m. on Mon., Sept. 24, prior to the service at the funeral home.
