The multitude of firetrucks, ambulances, and police and sheriff’s department cars parked outside Thomson McDuffie Middle School did not signify any emergency.
More than two dozen public safety professionals were treated to a special breakfast Tuesday, Sept. 11.
Police officers, sheriff’s deputies, firefighters, and EMS workers arrived at Thomson - McDuffie Middle School around 8 a.m. and were provided with a meal.
“We do it to honor all the emergency responders for 911 and for all the things they do in our community,” said Jessica Nicholson, a TMMS seventh-grade social studies teacher.
