The Thomson High School Bulldogs returned to the renovated Brickyard with an explosive offensive show of power Friday as they defeated Lakeside (Evans) 51-27.
Chris Jordan blasted through the Lakeside defense repeatedly to pick up 328 yards on 24 carries and found his way into the end zone three times.
“There’s time when he just puts the team on his back and he does a phenomenal job. I’m proud of him,” said THS Head Coach Milan Turner. “The whole offense, that whole offensive line, with a freshman starting at center — Drew Poston, did a good job opening holes for him all night long.”
The Bulldogs had several starters out and two freshmen had to start to help fill the gaps.
