• Middle school Bucs come from behind to win, 30-18

The Briarwood Academy Middle School football team improved its record to 2-0-1 with a 30-18 win over John Milledge Academy Thursday night.
The Trojans received the opening kickoff and drove down the field throwing the ball. They scored on a 10- yard pass play. The 2-point conversion failed, making the score 6-0 with 4:16 left in the first.
The Bucs turned the ball over on downs, on their first possession. After forcing a Trojan punt, the Bucs fumbled the football back to the Trojans, setting them up with a short field.
The Trojans scored on a 15-yard touchdown pass. The 2-point conversion failed again, making the score 12-0 with 31 seconds left in the first quarter.
