• Blaze damages house at farm

The residence of a farmhand sustained extensive damage Friday afternoon when it caught fire and burned.
County firefighters were dispatched to the Circle R Ranch, located at 3291 Mt. Pleasant Road, at 3:57 p.m. The ranch is owned by Ray Roquemore, who said the home is where one of his farm hands lives. Roquemore once lived in the home with his wife while they were building their home, which sits nearby but far enough away not to be threatened by the fire.
