The Thomson Lady Bulldogs scored a big region win against the Washington County Lady Golden Hawks with an 8-2 win at home Tuesday.
The score was knotted at two in the fourth before the Lady Dogs started rattling the bats.
“We had back to back singles to start the inning and it got contagious,” said Danny Farrell, THS head coach. “Haley Poss crushed a double and Samantha Sims hit a triple and things started going our way, and we kept playing hard.”
Farrell said the girls are starting to realize that when they start pressing, they have to keep the pressure on the whole game.
