The love of fish and seafood compelled a local businessman to open a second enterprise that is all about fish.
While one business, Big T’s Seafood on Augusta Highway, takes care of cooked fish needs, a second Big T’s is all about freshness.
Big T’s Fish and Seafood Market opened for business at 3 p.m. Aug. 31.
“What made me open a fresh fish market is that this was my original concept when we opened in Harlem—fresh fish which we cook,” said owner Tim Daniels. That concept evolved into Big T’s, a restaurant dedicated to providing customers with all of their fried fish and seafood needs.
Big T’s opened at 931 Augusta Highway in Thomson last spring and operates four days a week. Hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. On Friday and Saturday, the restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
