An expectant mother, a passenger in a vehicle, was flown to an Augusta hospital Monday night after an accident involving alcohol.
Georgia State Patrol Trooper Matt MacDonald said the accident occurred at 7:18 p.m., on Randall Road east of Dearing.
Hoand P. Bolia, of Randall Road, Dearing, 52, was driving east when, for unknown reasons, the Nissan 300X left the roadway, then overcorrected.
The trooper’s report said that as Bolia attempted to return to the road, he began spinning in the roadway and the vehicle again left the road, traveled along the north shoulder for 150 feet, before striking a ditch on the right side.
