If you walked into your kitchen, heard strange sounds emitting from the stove and then saw fire behind it, would you know to throw the circuit breaker to stop the power?
A 15-year old Boneville Circle girl did and is credited for keeping the house from burning down.
Kelci Cavnor and her sister Eastin walked into the kitchen of their home at 1749 Boneville Circle in Dearing on Aug. 6.
“When we walked into the kitchen, the stove was making a high pitch sound,” Cavnor said. “I looked behind it and saw flames.”
