• Local truck stop employee charged with forgery

A manager at a Thomson truck stop has been arrested for forgery and is being held on $10,000 bond.
The McDuffie County Sheriff’s Department arrested Vickie R. Sunley, 43, of the 1160 block of Wrightsboro Road, on Tuesday and charged her with forgery in the first degree and theft by taking.
