• Thomson lawyer named Warrenton city attorney

Thomson lawyer James "Jaye" Jones has been named attorney for the City of Warrenton.
Warrenton Mayor Tony Mimbs announced Jones’ acceptance of the position during Tuesday night’s city council meeting.
The full council voted to approve the hiring of Jones, who is also a member of the Thomson City Council.
“I am excited about this and it is a good thing,” said Jones. “I look forward to working with the people in Warrenton.”
