• Firefighters retrieve kitten from a well

Days of hearing crying led a resident of Boneville Road on a mission to find what was making the sound.
The search led to the Old Dixie Inn, an abandoned building at 2388 Boneville Road, in McDuffie County. The crying was coming from an abandoned well where a small kitten had fallen in.
