Early voting for the upcoming July 31 primary election began Monday.
Kelvin Williams, elections director for McDuffie County, said
this is just early voting for people who don’t want to, or are not able to go to the polls on election day.
“We call it an extended version of election day,” said Williams. “You don’t have to provide a reason. You can just come in and say you want to vote and we will give you a ballot.”
