• Camp Be Your Best inspires local girls

Two dozen girls learned tips for better, and healthier living during Camp Be Your Best, a one-day camp held in Thomson on June 30.
Camp Be Your Best is sponsored by Cher’s Sisters Only Club, which began as a book club in Augusta. The camp opened in Thomson, but will also feature day-long camps July 14, in Aiken, and July 30, in Augusta. The camp in Thomson was held at the Thomson Housing Authority.
“We do a lot of community involvement. This is one of our main service projects,” said Marilyn Norris, a Sisters Only Club member from Thomson.
