• McDuffie County Grand Jury indicts 70 individuals

The individual who called in a bomb threat to Thomson High School last November and the five people charged with bringing forbidden items to the McDuffie County Law Enforcement Center last February were among the nearly 70 people indicted by the McDuffie County Grand Jury.
Dawud Bashawn Jones, then 18, and a ninth grader at the Sand Hills School in Thomson, was apprehended in connection to the bomb threat at Thomson High School on Nov. 16.
