• Grand jury does not indict driver who struck child

A McDuffie County Grand Jury has found the driver of a truck that killed a Thomson Elementary School student on his way to get on the school bus, not guilty.
Wayman Brown, 52, of Thomson, was given a no bill by the grand jury, which met June 18 and June 19.
