• Daniel Johnson vies for male vocalist award

Thomson native Daniel Johnson, of the Statesboro-based Daniel Johnson Band, is a nominee for Male Artist of The Year on Georgia-County.com.
The singer is not sure who nominated him, but is watching the voting as visitors to the website cast votes for their favorites. Voting ends July 15 in this round, which will select finalist, who go into another round of voting. Fans can cast more than one vote but only one vote is allowed per IP address. That basically means you can only vote one time from a specific computer or cell phone. A second vote from that same electronic device will not be accepted.
