• Warrenton man arrested for burglary of Thomson business

A Warrenton man has been arrested in connection with the May 31 burglary of a Thomson business.
Gary J. Harris, 33, of the 100 block of W. Lake Drive, was arrested by the McDuffie County Sheriff’s office on June 12 for allegedly entering 3082 Mesena Road and taking property.
According to an incident report, employees of the business, the former Yodo’s Auto Recycle, discovered that the rear gate’s chain and gate lock had been cut.
