Helen Laster Gray, 74, of Gibson, Ga., wife of the late William Gray, mother of Alex Gray & Debbie Kitchens, & sister of Judy McDonald & Billy Laster, died on June 13, 2012.
Funeral services were held on Sat., June 16, at Mill Creek Baptist Church. Burial was in Gibson Baptist Church Cemetery.
Thomas O. Jones
Funeral services for Deacon Thomas O. Jones, 69, of Keysville, Ga., husband of Ann Jones, were held on Sat., June 16, 2012, at Brown Grove Baptist Church. Interment was in Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery of Matthews, Ga.
A viewing was held on Fri., June 15, at the Flat Rock Baptist Church and on Sat., June 16, at Freeman Funeral Home in Wrens, Ga.
Ralph E. McEroy
Funeral services for Ralph Edward McEroy, 53, of Harlem, Ga., were held on Sat., June 16, 2012, at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Martinez, Ga. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Grovetown, Ga.
Thomson Funeral System handled the arrangements.
Mildred Shipley
R. Mildred Shipley, of Gibson, Ga., mother of Robert Shipley, Jr., J.T. Shipley, J.F. Shipley, Mike Shipley and Donald Shipley, entered into rest on May 31, 2012.
Memorial services will be held on Mon., June 18, at 3 p.m. at McNeill Funeral Home in Martinez, Ga.
Willie Smith II
Funeral services for Willie J. Smith II, of Stapleton, Ga., were held on Sat., June 16, 2012, at Burnett Funeral Home. The family received friends at the funeral home after the service.
Burnett Funeral Home of Wrens handled the arrangements.
Lisa S. Turner
Lisa Smith Turner, 49, of Thomson, Ga., died on Sat., June 16, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wed., June 20, at Gibson Church of God.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tues., June 19, at Curtis Funeral Home in Thomson.
James M. Wheatley
James Manuel Wheatley, 72, of Washington, Ga., husband of the late Linda C. Wheatley & father of Jimmy & Scott Wheatley, Denise Armour, & Traci Bussey, died on June 14, 2012.
Funeral services were held on Sun., June 17, at Rehoboth Baptist Church & Cemetery.
Hopkins Funeral Home was in charge.
