• ASU Women’s golf team receives $5,500

The Augusta State University women’s golf team was presented with a $5,500 check from the Women’s Golf Committee of ASU’s annual Alumni and Friends Lauderdale Golf Tournament. The gift was presented at a May 24 reception at the Maxwell Alumni House. Rhonda Graybeal, chair of the ASU Women’s Golf Committee, said the donation not only supports ASU’s NCAA Division I women’s golf team, but is a way to show their appreciation for women’s sports.
